One of our staff members at the Phuthaditjaba Centre in Alexandra was awarded with a bursary to study Sales and Marketing at Varsity College in Sandton.

Lucky has been working in the sporting department but also managed to find time to do journalism for the centre and head office in Hyde Park. As part of his journalism work he wanted to market Phuthaditjaba Centre to the people all over the world, he created a Facebook page, which has 327 likes, and a twitter page, with 87 followers. Lucky has covered a lot of events under Afrika Tikkun, produced documentaries and he also writes articles that are published on supernews website and the Afrika Tikkun Newsletter.

Lucky Maduwa got his bursary through Amanda Blankfield and Nancy Chimhandamba who have been monitoring his work and development. The Marketing Management programme is valued at R13 000.00 for tuition. Lucky started with his classes on Saturday the 2nd of March. He has worked his way up and has proven himself to the organisation, gaining valuable experience that has aided him in his study efforts at Varsity College.
